The time has come where school is finally coming back in session, and everybody is leaving to go off to some distant university. With that being said, we regret to inform all of our faithful fans that Cedar has chosen to leave Turner Core to pursue his academic career. We love Cedar to death and wish him the best of luck with school and all of his future endeavors. It has been undecided if there will be a farewell show with Cedar (more than likely there will be).
As for the rest of the band, this is a very transitional period for us, but breaking up as a band is not even being considered an option to us. We will be continuing the recording of the new record with a projected December/January release.
As for the *new* guitarist.
We are currently auditioning/interviewing new guitar players. Think you have the ability and talent to play in Turner Core? Maybe you know someone that does. Well if so, we are looking for an experienced guitarist around the age of 20 that can play alternating leads and guitar harmonies. He/She Must be willing and able to tour and make a genuine dedication committment to Turner Core. We also hope to find someone that has a decent backing vocal talent. The show at THE PREMIER for 3/6/05 has been changed and is now at EL CORAZON (Formerly Graceland). TC hits the stage at 7:00PM! Be sure and grab yourself some tickets under the TC Store section of the website!
The new turnercore.com is launched along with the much anticipated release of "TURNER CORE: LIVE @ GRACELAND." The official album release show will be on DECEMBER 19, 2004 at Bob's Java Jive in Tacoma with Random Silence, Factors of Axiom, and Innerveil.
